Help with dental bill, for 5yr daughter

My name is Stu,

I'm 38 & suffer from chronic lower (leg dominated) back pain, for the last 10+ years.
During that time, I have worked full time.
Somedays I could not work & would "call in" to work.
As the years have gone by, the jobs may have changed.
The pain, however, would keep getting worse & the "days off" star to out weight the days worked.

I am applying for EI sick leave, but that will leave me income less for 4 weeks, until my first EI payment.

Which leads me here. Please understand, I'm not lazy or trying to mooch off the system.
I have a job, I love & really don't want to leave it.
If only, while I try & surgeon, then heal.
I still want to work, but I also don't want to be in constant mind-numbing pain anymore.
