Hello, let me tell you a little about myself. I am a 21 years old nerdy transman, currently going to school full time at TCNJ for pre-medicine and psychology.
Gender has been a complicated issue for me, and I've spent a number of years contemplating whether I would feel better dissociating and hiding my identity or being genuine. Last year, I finally decided the best thing I could do would be to make my outer identity match my inner identity as best I could. My name and my clothes match my feelings now. But it's just not enough. Living with the intense feeling of wrongness I get around my secondary sex characteristics is very painful. I just want to get a little closer to being able to afford something that would make me feel so much more comfortable in my own skin.
