Just want to wish all the...
Just want to wish all the donors, their families, and especially Glen James and his family a Happy Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for; keep Glen and his family in your thoughts and remember that none of this could have been done without everyone coming together as one. Thank you so much!
If anyone in the Boston area has had contact with Glen over the past few weeks, please email me ASAP.

Good morning everyone! I cannot thank...
Good morning everyone!
I cannot thank you enough for the amount of support this campaign has received over the past few weeks from all over the world! It is truly remarkable what can happen when we put our heads together towards one common goal. Although it's slowing down, the donations continue to come in on an hourly basis. Together, we can say that we changed a man's life.
It was a busy, but an extremely successful week last week. What an honor to meet Glen, and all the beautiful people in the great city of Boston. Its humbling to finally meet someone like Glen. He is one of the most positive, happiest people I have ever come in contact with; and to think of the situation he was in and to continue to keep his head high is a special trait that not many have. I think as a human race, were constantly losing sight on the things that really matter in this world, and when you hear stories like this it almost reboots your mentality about life and what it actually means to be happy.
Glen could not thank us enough for the donations that have come pouring in from across the world, but I continued to tell him, he's the one that needs to be thanked.
He wrote a statement to share with you and I promised I would post it for everyone to read:
"Stuttering is not pretty...Strangely enough, most stutterers can talk fluently when they don't really need to talk. Now I need to talk, and so I cant.
No need to nudge me to talk, that's my job. Thinking is far greater than talking anyway. Stutterers are great thinkers, because the are forced to listen to everyone.
I am considering keeping my bad teeth, all twelve of them, as a trademark, and also my eye glasses, which are held together by an apparent paperclip. And who could impersonate me? Who would even want to impersonate me?
The worst thing about stuttering is also the best thing about it: people assume you're not to bright, so they let they're guard down. And THEN you outshine them.
Anyone who wouldn't have turned in all that money would have HAD to be sick in one way or another. I may look sick, but I am a genius!
I am getting permanent housing. Other homeless people have been asking me, how soon will they be getting housing? Do they have to wait to find a backpack with $40,000 in it?
I am getting job offers from everywhere, homeless people want me to send them there because I only need one. I can type, but I cant use the phone- Im a stutterer!
On a serious note; I don't think there is a real cure for the multiple of homeless people, because their problems go far beyond a simple lack of housing, but the problems of the homeless could be managed far better.
There really isn't much difference between homeless and non-homeless people as we would like to think, but you would only find that out if you couldn't make next months rent and truly have no where to go, but the streets...
More than anything I would like to thank every pedestrian stranger who gave me spare change. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Maybe I'm wrong, but this story is much bigger than a man who found money and turned it in; its a true testament that there are amazing people in this world, and no matter what our background, what color our skin is, who we know, how much money we make, what political party were for; if we come TOGETHER and sincerely help each other, and can lean on each other in times of needs, we can create positive change like we have in Glen's life. He also reminds us, that there are several other problems that can be fixed if we can come together as one.
I am happy to say that with the plans in motion, we have done our best to successfully create a life for Glen to succeed, instead of just hand him a bag of cash. It couldn't have been a better scenario. He has a great head on his shoulders and just fell upon bad luck. Despite the unfortunate stereotype for homeless people, Glen has never had any substance abuse issues, so I am positive the money will be going to the right things. We have set him up with a trust, in which a trustee, requested to remain anonymous, agreed to help manage. He is working with a support group, which specifically deals with getting homeless people off the streets. They are providing him an apartment and guidance on finances, job training, and dealing with everyday life. They will also provide help for other things such as medical assistance, visiting the doctor, well being, etc. The New England Dental Group has also agreed to provide lifetime care to Glen, if he chooses. I have also taken many comments off the site to share with Glen, and show him how he has changed thousands of lives.
The account will soon be directly connected to Glen's bank, so any donations from there on out will go straight there. So a couple weeks, a couple months, or maybe a year from now, when you find yourself thinking of Glen, and doing the right thing, or deciding to help someone; you can check the website to remind yourself there are great people out there, or you can donate to Glen hoping he continues the blessed life he deserves.
Thank you so much again for your support and encouragement through emails and phone calls, and especially your faith in me to do the right thing. I would really like to thank all of my family and friends for keeping me positive through the whole process despite the nay-sayers. And also, their willingness to help me out in the process at the drop of a hat. Everyone deserves a pat on the back. And most an foremost, don't let the love in this world die down with this story. Lets continue a trend, and maybe, just maybe we can change the world.... YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME.
P.S I am working on getting more pictures and video of our visit posted.

Only for people who care about human life. Hello I apologize in advance that there publish their contribution . But I do not know where else I should try to ask people for help . My best friend and his family ( wife and 3 small children), got into serious financial situation where they must to pay to 25 october something around 100,000 CZK , otherwise they risk losing their home. He works as a laborer , his wife can not get a job . He worked at one company , and they did not give employees a few months payments for a long time looking for a job and the problems started. He try her own business and as a financial advisor - for half a year earned CZK 248 and CZK 50,000 invested and he borrowed the money for rent, food and services needed to live. But unfortunately installments have become unbearable , so to get into a very bad situation. Therefore, they decided to reach people who could help them , but to no avail people those who earn or have a lot of money , usually do not give anything to anyone . And foundation or any institution that could help them too. Therefore , I appeal to you with the hope that they would be able to help someone . Tried to consult with attorneys regarding personal bankruptcy , but because it nourishes wife and their three children so they do not qualify . I believe in God and in people with a good heart, so you please let us help this family. Contact me firstname.lastname@example.org

It's true there is a lot of people who have big problems and could use help. To say no one cares is not right though, I care, but there is nothing I can do to help anyone, because I have big problems also. It does seem that the only way to get noticed is to be televised nationally, then people care about you. If say Glen had not gotten publicity for returning the money, no one would have known about him, no money, no help. There are people who help people in their communities all the time who receive no acknowledgement or even a thank you for their help. Sad. It's a sad, sad, world we live in...hope it gets better soon. Anyone who thinks no one cares, I hope you will think of me and know I care, even though I can't do anything but write this message, I do care and will include you in my prayers.

Jennifer Rameriz not everyone that is homeless is a crack head. eople find them selves living on the street all round the world for many reasons. just prey to god you never have to experience that because with your outlook and attitude you wont survive a day. I help homeless people and people in need all the time, so much that every dollar profit my business turns after paying my bills and my staff i put back into communities and people in need. The problem is people in need are outgrowing the profits of the business so if all goes well i will get to Christmas this year them i may have to stop. If you ever do decide to help someone some days besides yourself you will know the feeling of doing something good, and the pain when you see the day coming when you wont be able to help them anymore and in the back of your mind you know for a fact that you were all they had.

If I was not already living on a fixed income, I'd donate whatever extra money I had to you. There are not nearly enough people in this world with your kindness and integrity, but I hope that by sharing real stories like yours that this world will start to see a resurgence of enlightened thinking. God Bless You, Sir.

Ethan, You are an Angel On Earth for what you have done for Glen. I am a single parent of a daughter with bone cancer and am unable to work, but we are fine, we get lots of help from my daughters teachers & some local cancer foundations, So I am unable to donate but just HAD to tell you how I felt about what you've done. Before the cancer, I would give my last to ANY homeless person I saw, so your heart matches mine :-) Continue to do GOD's work Ethan I LOVE IT

Yesterday I got a note from someone in the Boston area (postmarked). I just wanted to tell you what a kind and caring person you are. Your words meant so much to me. I will save this note and read it again each and every time I feel that I am about to give up. You brought tears to my eyes. I will pray for you each and every day for the rest of my life. I only wish there were more people like you in this world.

Thanks for all the inspiration! The reward is deserved! Ethan is awesome for taking the initiative and Glen for being a solid, good person! I have a suggestion regarding Meniere's Disease: get properly tested for gluten/dairy reactivity at www.enterolab.com and if that comes back with no findings, check further for chemical and food reactivity at www.alcat.com. After 33 years in Holistic Medicine I have seen many become free of Meniere's through removing the offending agents...then restoring proper function via Acupuncture, Chiropractic and nutrition.

My Daughter Lizzy > Elizabeth Comeau was Diagnosed with AML, Acute Mylenoma Leukemia 4 years a go on February 26th, and had a bone marrow transplant in August 27th 2009, My Lizzy has always lived with me and her dad.Lizzy's daughter Angelina was 18 Months old when Lizzy was 1st diagnosed with Leukemia. She was sick still but Her Body started rejecting The Transplant 2 years ago and got worse this year New years Eve when She was admitted for the Flu. Lizzy was admitted into the Hospital 14 times since New Years and most of the time she was only in the Hospital for 7 to 10 days, she would get sick and dehydrate and need iv fluids and iv meds, the last visit She was in the Hospital for 2 Months since July 7th, The GVH which is Graft vs Host Disease(Her Body Rejecting the Transplant) was now attacking her organs but We didn't know she was going to Pass so suddenly as I was going to the Hospital every day and bringing my grand daughter to see her Mommy. The day before She passed away We both said I will see you Tomorrow !!!. My Daughter Lizzy passed away on September 2nd due to GVH in her lungs and Heart, and She turned 26 years old on Sept 10th. We had her Funeral Services in Mass on the 12th and 13th. My daughter did not have no Life Insurance and so The Burden is on me to Pay for her Funeral Services. I even had to take a loan out of My Husband's Life Insurance Policy and We did get some Donations so far but was not enough and The Funeral Home is Nice enough to give me some Time to Raise the Money, actually 30 days. My Husband and I are on Disability so it's hard for us to pay the whole Bill. If you are unable to Donate to this site then you can send something directly to The Funeral Home >>> Beers and Story Funeral Home 1475 North Main street, Palmer Mass 01069 and put in Honor of Elizabeth Comeau. You could also put on envelope Attn Alyssa I would Appreciate any Help I can get right now. Thank you very much everyone and God Bless !!!.

Well said Jason. When you read these comments Glen, know that the majority of people are proud of you and what you have done. Shake off the negative comments and move on and enjoy your life. And to those of you who choose to leave nasty, negative comments, shame on you. As my mother always told me "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything". I think some of you should follow that advice. Good job Glen and Ethan.
