We are Team Canada and we will be representing our country in the International Table Soccer World Cup this December in Nantes, France. That's right, there's a foosball World Cup and it showcases the most talented players in the world.
This isn't just a game of spinning rods and bouncing balls. It's a game of skill, strategy, endurance, hand-eye coordination and control.
Over the past few years Team Canada has sent a Men's team to compete in the World Cup, but this year we're proud to announce that both Men's and Women's teams will be representing the red & white, competing for Gold.
Like many Canadian professional athletes we lack the funding to support our team and help us compete. Which is why we're asking for your support today.
Our goal is to spread the word about Team Canada Foosball, and to raise funds for our athletes to help cover our flights, uniforms, meals and accommodations in France.
