A SMART Brailler for Tommy!

We are starting this campaign to fund a SMART Brailler for Tommy of THOMAS MARSHALL DOES IT ALL. Tommy has been blind since birth and will be a Braille reader. He is currently a second year preschool student at the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children in Pittsburgh, PA.
The SMART Brailler speaks as you type! Auditory (sound) feedback is an incredibly effective way to reinforce learning - especially for a blind child. Tom really enjoyed trying out the SMART Brailler and I think owning one would make it easier for him to learn Braille.
Recently, Tommy was in a contest through Wonderbaby.org to win a SMART Brailler. He didn't win, so we are trying to raise funds to purchase a SMART Brailler for him. The Perkins SMART Brailler usually costs $2,195.00 but we got a $500 credit from our participation in the Wonderbaby contest. Thanks Wonderbaby! That brings us so much closer to our goal.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help Tommy get closer to a valuable tool for learning Braille. Thank you!!
