Mom's cancer spread// stage 4

I was diagnosed with Stage 3C Colon Cancer.
Cancer Returned Aug 2013 & Now spread to Liver (stage 4) with a large grapefruit sized mass (10x7x10cm) on my ovary also confirmed cancerous from colon
Previously, I spent nearly 1 month in the local hospital. While there I had:
* Colon resection
* A 4x7cm mass removed
* My appendix removed
* Deep Vein Thrombosis
* Pulmonary Embolism that nearly killed me
* Kidney Stent
* Allergic Reactions to Meds
During 2 separate Kidney Stent Replacements I went into Analphylactic Shock - during one of those occurrences It took doctors 20 mins to REVIVE me! That one instance alone created a $6000+ out of pocket hospital bill.
I searched for some sites to provide aid to cancer patients.
So much searching w/ little providing.
I tried SSDI, I was denied
first because I stayed home with my children when my second was born because my then husband traveled 90% of the time.
UGH.. SSDI only looks at the last 10 yrs of work! I don't have enough work credits. And after the divorce I returned to college so I could provide for my children, but my cancer diagnosis came mid-way thru my schooling. I then asked an SSDI advocate if I could collect on my ex's social security .. they said NO not unless he's dead or 65.
UGH Again!
I believe now that I'm stage 4 I may be eligable for SSDI but do not know how much.. I will be checking this with Karmanos staff on Oct 2. to see what I can do.
I'm feeling a bit desperet and hate asking for help.
but my spousal support is going to end
and has been the only thing to keep me afloat
even though (at last calculation) 79% of that support is being spent on my medical.
Yes I have medical insurance
but it's not good
$400/mo for premiums
$6500 out of pocket + $500 out of pocket for RX
then copays
so far double that for 2012 and now for 2013
and my cancer is back and spread
my medical bills will continue and my support will end
I want very much to be with my daughter and continue treatment and continue to pay my premiums/copays.
Any help would be appreciated. Including prayers.

Updates will come as I know more.. things change quickly and its difficult to know what's next when there are many unknowns.
I'm just grateful for friends / family that are there when I need them.. it hasn't been easy but I adore those that have been there.

BTW.. the goal amount I didn't know what to put as I know bills will persist and I don't know what aid I can get when spousal support ends now that I won't be able to work.
