Crafting Yourself - After School Program

Donation protected
Crafting Yourself is an after-school student run program in the Denver Public School area. This program is designed to give students tools for emotional and behavioral well being through interactive crafting activities. This new program is incredibly important because it creates an environment of equality for all students.

We are trying to raise money for these students, because their schools cannot afford such programs and simple things such as paint and healthy snacks can make a world of difference!

After school one day each week from January 31 to May 2, school will transform into a creative, energetic realm of discovery called Crafting Yourself as we journey to fill our treasure boxes with the buried treasures we always had but maybe never even thought about. Crafting Yourself is a fun and interactive program where middle school students can explore what makes each of us unique and discover strengths within each student.

In creative, musical, conversational, active, and even edible activities guided by student interests, the Crafting Yourself explorers will build their own treasures to remember what makes each of them unique, how they can use their strengths in difficult situations, how they can positively interact with classmates, and how they can apply their strengths to both school and community involvement.
