Callums battle #CCDI

Hey guys, im setting up this page due to being asked by people if they can make a financial donation towards callum.
Callum will be 12 on April 1st 2017 and it has been a huge struggle to get him there.
Callum is terminally poorly with a condition called Mitochondrial disease, a condition with very Little awareness. There is currently little treatment and no cure for this condition. He also has underlying medical conditions that go alongside this such as epilepsy and a condition called AHC.
We all thought that because callum has had a good run out of hospital that he was getting better and doing well. However we have just had the news that at the current age of only 11 his memory is the first thing that will be hit by this condition. His memory has taken a rapid decline since his last check up at the hospital which means we don't know how long he will be socially aware.
Because of this news im planning the Biggest 12th birthday party and fundraiser to help him make more memories. He has completed a few on his bucket list but unfortunately has lost some of the memories and doesn't even know some of it happened. For example he met his idol Kevin Nolan and now can't remember who he even is.
We wish money raised could go to treatment, if only that was an option :( because there is no sign of a cure we cant , so the money we raise is going to help us make more memories with callum to encourage him to never give up and to hopefully keep his memory active so that he won't lose it as quick.
Callum is going for further testing in the near future to check for other conditions that come with mitochondrial disease so we need to prepare for the worst as we don't know what the outcome will be of those tests.
