Alisha's Medical Fund

Many of you have reached out to Jared & Alisha asking if there is a fund set up to help with medical expenses for her upcoming care. So, we have set up this site so that you contribute practically. We asked them to put together a figure that accurately estimates their out of pocket expenses over the next year of her treatment. Her plan of care includes 6 months of chemotherapy at UCSF, a double mastectomy, possible radiation, and finally reconstruction. She wanted you to know, most of all, they appreciate your prayers & emotional support during this time and love you all very much!

The Breakdown:


$9,000-33,000 Deductibles for insurance (depending in & out of network for 2013 & 2014)
+ a lot of unknowns (gas to get to & from San Francisco 1-2 times/week, babysitting, hotels in SF for multiple day visits)
