Raising for my dad, my best friend!

I am no longer above asking for help. My father has given everything to give our family a good home. He would give the shirt off his back to help a stranger. Now he needs help, any help he can get. My father was diagnosed 9 months ago with Esophogeal cancer that has spread to the liver. He has been on chemo for 8 months and receiving great care at Fox Chase Cancer Center. However because of my dads age he cannot collect disability because he already collects social security. Even though dad was working full time at the time of his diagnoses, he also cannot collect unemployment because he already collects social security. The creditors don't care about his situation and keep calling. They are struggling to pay the bills. My father has worked every day of his life and would continue to work if he could. The effects of the chemo are horrible and most days he can't even walk to the mailbox to get the mail. My father was just denied any extra help from the V. A ( Veterans Association). My father is a Marine and fought for our country in Vietnam. Something he is proud of and would do again. At this point I am not sure what else to do to help him. Your prayers and strength are greatly appreciated.
