Start an all-fandom Convention in WA

Conventions where fans of comics, video games, and Japanese culture are more and more popular. However, current conventions really only cater to one faucet of being a fan-- being a fan of Japanese culture, of comics only. I would like to create a non-profit that will host events and create a welcoming environment of fans of everything from Star Trek to BBC Sherlock to Superman to webcomics to Studio Ghibli movies and everything in between. Where people can cosplay any series without feeling inappropriate or out of place, and where people can come together and learn about each other. I want to start a convention AND an organization that is a. non-profit b. safe for all attendees of all ages and c. full of year-round events such as dances,parties and meetups.

The money raised here will go toward registration and representation by a Registered Agent in Washington, so Pan-con can file to be a non-profit organization.
