Charity Walk Expenses

Hi everyone, as some of you may know my name is Cameron and last year I was very fat. However, due to the wonderful people at Oxford Bariatric Clinic I was give life changing surgery and have lost just over 9 stone in weight so in an effort to repay I am taking on the challenge of walking 170 miles for the charity Henry (Health Exercise and Nutrition in the Really Young). I plan to raise much needed awareness for the charity along with £10000. The walk is something I am looking forward to doing as to walk 300,000 yards is quite an achievement only 15 months after not being able to walk 30 yards! I do this because I really do not wish to see children grow up obese and suffer from the issues I suffered from.
I plan to walk Britain's oldest road The Ridgeway and oldest fortified wall Hadrian's Wall, back to back in the space of 12 days. As you can imagine the cost of doing such a thing is quite something so although I plan to meet a good deal of the expenses myself, I could really do with a hand. I will have equipment costs, fuel costs (for the support cars) food, water and accomodation costs for the support team (I plan to sleep in a tent along the route) so as the event builds so does the expense of arranging and seeing it through.

Only yesterday I needed to get some new kit for walking training and spent over £200 on clothing alone in one go so it's amazing how quickly it mounts up.
If you can give anything at all, that would be absolutely amazing as it will help me reaslise a dream of giving something back to the weight loss and health world who did so much for me in helping me lose my weight and take my life back; and it will also allow me to get the message out that it is not neccessary for children to suffer from weight related illness.
