On Sunday, June 23 we were awaken by our Hotel advising us that our Sprint Car Trailer that was parked in the adjacent lot was on fire. Once the Fire Department finished putting out the flames and the smoke dissipated we saw everything we have worked for over the past 5 years was completely gone. The entire racing trailer and everything inside was destroyed. Our family owned Sprint Car, parts, tools, equipment, 4 wheeler, newly printed tee shirts for Ohio Sprint Speed week, you name it, all destroyed.

We are now picking ourselves up and trying to get moving to get back on the track. Unfortunately, there aren't enough finances to make it happen as soon as we would like. As many Race Car Drivers know, our Race Cars cannot be insured. On a side note we are working with our personal Insurance to see what they will cover. We have already been told, however, that the Sprint Car definitely will NOT be covered regardless. Some of the contents inside the trailer might be covered, but it is too soon to know for sure.

I know that Race Fans are the greatest fans on Earth, we are like a close-nit family! So I look to you, my racing family, for some help. Some of my Sponsors have already stepped up to help, however I still need a lot of help getting back on the track. Your donations will help get me back on the track sooner and will also help offset what the Insurance company would not cover anyway. Racing is my life, and its been my dream to make it where I am today. The 2013 Season was looking good until Sunday Morning. For those that may not know, I was running 8th in the top 10 of the All Star Points (Ohio Region) and really making my mark in my rookie season in a 410 Sprint Car.
