Care Packages for the Homeless

For my 37th birthday, I'm giving back. With your help, we can accomplish this goal.
I'm raising funds to provide 37 care packages for the homeless.
Homelessness is a reality for many in nearly every city. In my late teens and early twenties, I had spent some time on the streets with no place to call home by no volition of my own. This was my reality. It wasn't a choice. It wasn't because I was lazy, uneducated, or did not want to participate in society. It was just a reality of my then current situation. The line between having somewhere to live and not is very thin. Simply because an individual is homeless, shouldn't reflect them not having everyday essentials.
This fundraiser is also a way to raise awareness on how easy it is to give, and to provide ideas for others to be able to create their own care packages. If we all gave a care package once year towards a homeless, the results would be astounding. It wouldn't only brighten their day, but help them with needs they are not able to afford themselves.
Each packages will cost $30 to make.
They will contain everyday essentials that many of us take for granted.
A youtube video will be produced of the event and the distribution of the care packages. You will be able to witness what your donation has contributed to, paying it forward to those less fortunate.
**The goal amount reflects the amount needed for the camplaign plus the fees associated with gofundme.
