All donations will be used to make copies, generate posters, and help us reach the top. We have generated a 60 page booklet of valid information. That alone in cost of paper, ink, staples and many other supplies we will need to do this will be costly
We are looking for any kind of donation to help this grassroots group to get off the ground. You can choose the selections below or make a donation you are comfortable with. We appreciate any and all donations to help our efforts to Stop Common Core in CT.
Parents, Educators all over CT have been doing rigorous work with all the extra time they have left in the day. There are Pro's to the Common Core, but there are more Con's. It breaks the 10th Amendment, and statutes under the Constitution. We want the best Education for our children, but not under the Government. Our children are taking tests every day.. Pre tests, the test, and then a Post test. The government wants to collect data on our children more so than they already do. Parents do not have the rights anymore. FERPA changed their law to benefit them and not the children. We need your help as grassroots committed parents and educators to get the funding we need to go up against the state of CT and ask them to defund the Common Core and to stop implementing its standards into our schools. There was never a pilot program done to see if this would work. There are no Benchmarks to go off. All we have is the government and for pro-profit entities, trying to take over our children and their education. Please help by donating any little bit helps, for copies we need to make, trips and research we need to do, and most importantly campaigning against it.Thank you and we appreciate you generosity in advance!
