Mission Trip to Guatemala

Hello Friends,
In celebration of my "It's a Wonderful Life" birthday (or 30 again) I have decided to volunteer for a week of service in Guatemala. Yes, that's right, I am packing up my kitten low-heeled shoes and I'm going to build a house!
At Brizo's NYC Fashion Week last Fall, I met an incredible Southern Belle, Interior Designer Kelly Kole. She has been participating and raising money for the Catalyst Resources International organization for over 5 years. Her enthusiasm and true grit inspired me to join this effort. Her team raised enough money this year to build a 3 room house~isn't this perfect for me? It may not be the homes I am used to designing but I am so excited to be a part of building the walls from the ground up!

This is such a wonderful opportunity for me to give back after all the blessings I have received in my life, including each and every one of you for whom I am thankful for everyday.
