Help Out The Mates Family.

To say 2016 has been a very difficult year, would be an understatement. I am the single parent of two teenagers, aged 18 and 13. My 18 year old son is mildly autistic and I have raised them entirely on my own, whilst battling chronic health issues and a physical disability of my own. I currently have a torn ACL, that requires surgery and am unable to work at the moment. I have been on the public waiting list, for surgery, a year already. We are currently facing the very real possibility of homelessness and have to vacate our current rental property by 3rd of January, 2017. The last 4 weeks the car has been broken down in the driveway and I have spent hundreds of dollars on repairs. It looks like it now has a blown head gasket. Being without a car, means we can't get to "open for house" inspections to look at potential rental properties. We also can't get to very important medical appointments. Being in chronic pain means using public transport is very difficult. We are hoping to raise enough money to either buy another car or pay for a bond and one months rent in advance on a new rental property.
