Standing Rock Fund
Donation protected
EMERGENCY UPDATE: our team is en route but stuck in Livingston, MT (about 7 hours short of our destination), after hitting a deer and possibly totaling our truck. Loaded with donations and camping gear, we need a substantially sized vehicle to rent — which costs a lot of money, apparently. The insurance will provide a discount, but an insufficient amount.
If supporters of our efforts could pull together and pitch in, I believe we can continue on our journey, delayed but for only a day.
We are a determined bunch and will do everything we can to get to Standing Rock, so please help us!

On November 12, 2016, a group from Mendocino and Lake County will be driving three days to reach the shores of the Cannonball River in North Dakota. We will be joining the efforts of the Standing Rock Sioux Nation and their supporters to protect the waters of the Missouri River from the Dakota Access Pipeline. Whatever funds you can contribute towards supporting our trip will be gratefully accepted. If you would rather make a specific donation to the camps to aid with the winter supplies being transported with our caravan, please refer to the following list:• $ 5 = compact lantern• $ 5 = face wind guard• $10 = -20 degrees gloves• $10 = Sherpa scarf• $15 = dog coat• $15 = trapper style hat w/face guard• $50 = zero degree sleeping bagTo follow along with our journey, please subscribe to the YouTube channel:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClqyGcz8a2uM4RFzuEx4sfg(The Pebble)Or through the blog, thepebblestepper.wordpress.comOccasionally, we will go live through Periscope (The Pebble @talktothepebble)We can be reached at [email redacted]Thank you for your generous support!
