Thank you! We did it! Cream's New Home!

This is Cream. He's a 3 year old giant cuddle monster with a crooked ear and the softest kitten purr who's owners had to give him up. He's currently living at our local Petsmart in a cold two by two cage with a too small bed. Right now he's being sponsored by the OCAS kill shelter with an 'OUT date' of February 23, two weeks before we are able to move into the new apartment (March 6) that would let us take him home. We've already talked to our current apartment about him living with us for the two weeks in between, but unless we can manage an extra $300 for their pet deposit, as well as the $250 pet deposit for the new apartment, there's no way to save this lovable guy. We've seen him a few times over the last three weeks, and he's just one humongous loaf of a friendly cat.

He's stolen OUR hearts, but as an adult cat surrounded by 'more adorable' kittens, no one has even asked about adopting him since he was put in the system.


He currently has all his shots and vaccinations up to date, so there won't be any additional fees after the adoption, but managing to scramble an extra $500 plus dollars together this month is just the slightest bit outside of our budget, but we don't want to let this big guy die.
