Help Tanya win her Battle with Lymphoma

When you ask anyone what their first impression of Tanya is, they will undoubtedly mention her beauty, her warm smile and grace. She on the other hand would define herself as a kind mother of a 4 yr old son, a wife, and a very hard worker.

Tanya recently became pregnant and much to her surprise, it was twins. This was her dream realized because she always wanted girls.

This dream quickly turned into a nightmare when she started experiencing excruciating pains and numbness in her right hand two months in. A golf ball sized cyst also developed on her head accompanied with the usual symptoms of pregnancy so no alarms were raised. The first diagnosis from the doctors was nothing more than pregnancy symptoms like carpal tunnel syndrome from babies resting on a nerve and a cyst due to water retention.

As time progressed, the arm pain got excruciatingly intense and the once cyst doubled in size and now caused blinding headaches forcing her to stop work and head straight to the ER.

Due to her pregnancy, elevated heart rate and what was discovered to be thyroid goiter, the doctors demanded she admit herself into the hospital.

Instead of celebrating the twins' scheduled baby shower the following weekend, she had to undergo life saving procedures like MRIs, a cranial biopsy, bone biopsy. After pondering the results followed by numerous conferences from all the doctors involved, they determined it was a rare Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma.

The pregnancy complicated things and termination was proposed to give Tanya a better shot to beat the cancer. She and her husband decided against it and chose to undergo some safe chemo with babies inside.

Miraculously, she responded well to the 1st round of chemo and is scheduled for another 6 months. This will be a delicate balance to ensure the safety of both Tanya and the twins. Early c section is on the table along with the babies spending time in the NICU.

Please help Tanya and her family endure this process because all the procedures and hospital visits are beginning to bare a financial burden. As we know, insurance never covers 100%.

Additionally, she will be needing assistance through the 6 month chemo process while delivering twins with items needed for newborn babies so please find it in your hearts to donate to her cause and assist her through this recovery process.

Tanya being the positive person she is, she plans to spend her time moving forward to help women who are afflicted with this situation and assist them through their hardships for as you know 'life if cyclical'
