In January of 2010, Annika Crump, received the devastating news that she had breast cancer. Since then, she has been fighting hard to be here for her husband and 5 children. Thanks to her positive attitude, help from conventional and naturopathic doctors and loving support from family and friends, she has seen improvement over the last 3 years for which she is extremely grateful. However, medical bills are growing while recent changes in her insurance has resulted in a higher deductible that needs to be met before her insurance will cover the continuing costs of her current chemotherapy treatments.
A month ago, Annika finished her 10th round of chemo infusions which was the maximum dose for that particular chemo drug. Her doctor recently recommended a new treatment plan including a different chemo drug which is taken orally. She was ecstatic that she could have a break from infusions but her excitement was short-lived. Her insurance would not pay for this expensive drug until she paid $2800 which is the amount needed to reach their deductible. Already thousands of dollars in debt from medical bills, her family does not have this money. If it is not paid within the week, Annika will have to go back to receiving chemo infusion treatments which will produce harsher side-effects.

Unfortunately, Annika had an allergic reaction to the oral chemo drug and had to stop taking it. Right now she is at Cancer Treatment Ctrs of America in AZ to get some help. They found 2 tumors in the neck, and numerious small tumors on the brain. She has already completed 2 of her 10 recommended radiation treatments on her neck and head area. We thank everyone for your support and your continued prayers. Annika truly appreciate it all!
