It is estimated that there are 2.2 billion children in the world and 1 billion of those are directly affected by poverty and hunger, because of this I was motivated to develop the Kawsay Food Kit. Kawsay means living in Aymara, one of Bolivia's native languages.
This kit will be a distribution container meant to make food distribution in impoverished rural areas of the world more human, personal and much more effective than the current solutions. It will be a low cost & biodegradable production intended to combat unhygienic food storage and promote long term solutions.
This concept is currently in the prototyping phase & requires YOUR help to make it a reality. As an Industrial Designer I've tested almost every aspect of the functionality of this container but more in-depth, infield testing is also necessary.

Se estima que hay 2.2 billones de niños en el mundo y 1 billón están directamente afectados por pobreza y hambruna, es por esto que decidí desarrollar Kit de distribución de comida Kawsay. Que se traduce directamente a "vivir" en Aymara, lengua nativa de Bolivia.
Este kit será un contenedor de comida para mejorar la distribución en áreas rurales afectadas por pobreza. Se propone hacer la distribución mas humana, personal y mucho mas efectiva que las soluciones de hoy en día. Será una produccion de bajo costo y biodegradable, intentando fomentar la higiene en el almacenamiento de alimentos y promover soluciones a largo plazo.
Actualmente este concepto esta en la etapa de prototipo y requiere TU ayuda para hacerla realidad. Como Diseñador Industrial he comprobado todo aspecto de la funcionalidad de este contenedor pero se requieren mas tests.
