OUR STORY:
"2nd Hand" is a dark existential comedy made in Perth, Western Australia. It follows the day to day lives of an unlikely group of neurotic co-workers in what they believe to be the worst retail job in the world, an Op Shop. A store that often wreaks havoc as it's not always taken seriously by customers, nor employees.

OBJECTIVE:
Daniel Johnston and Dion Healey have created the show in hopes of bringing more work to Perth for fellow filmmakers and actors. Who says we can't stay in Perth and make a living doing something we love, something we are all extremely passionate about! 

HOW THE FUNDS WILL BE USED:

The funding is setup to assist the show in several ways:

- Equipment hire.

- Insurance (For our crazy antics)

- Props, Costumes, Makeup (We prefer our cast to be clothed)

- Catering (for the starving crew/cast, unfortunately we can't live off tic tacs)

- Venue hire for casting/rehearsal space (A park is no good when winter is coming!!!)

- Social Media Marketing Campaign (What good's making the show if we can't show you!)

THE CHALLENGES:

There will be many challenges, hardships, blood, sweat and tears along the way (mostly mine). But I have full faith in my cast and crew. We are very fortunate to have some of Perth's finest talent.

But still our biggest challenge is reaching you! So please SHARE! There will be sketches posted on a regular basis to give you all a taste of what's to come. You will meet the characters and i guarantee it's hard not to fall in love with these people. I sure have.
