Recently my partner and I where involved in a situatation where we where forced to leave our living arangements due to it no longer being a safe place for us to live.
We are now staying in a motel, and will be homeless this coming sunday about 11 am without help.
Due to the issue that now has us living in a motel tell sunday, Both my partner and I sustained, physical bruising and damage to both our wrists( seperate events caused on the same day from the start issue ).
So on top of needing help to move into an appartment, I am also needing help with medical care, for my wrist ( my partner has insurance, while I do not , so they are covered, thankfully.)
We did manage to get approved for an appartment, but the total move in cost's are $1500
This breaks down to:
$875 for first months rent
$300 for pet deposit
$220.20 for Electricity ( we can not move into the apartment until this is turned on )
$85 for Gas ( this is for the heater, and stove, and again we are not allowed to move in tell this is paid )
In total: $1480.00
This is the cheapest place we can find, that allows my partner to be able to get to work, as we do not have a car for transportation, nor are we near a bus route.
Any help at this point would be appreciated, even just spreading the word and this link, to help get us some place safe.
