Tyson loved his friends and family. He was a man with a heart so big, a smile so bright, and a laugh so loud and contagious; his presence lit up every room he entered. From a young age Tyson was a gifted athlete, he was involved in soccer and competed in surf club. At the age of 16 he became a pro body boarder. His career was set and he signed numerous sponsorship deals.
Tyson was idolised by the younger generation of boys within the Manly and Northern Beaches area.
Cooper- his one and only younger brother looked up to him as his role model, his best mate. Ty was Coopers hero!
Tyson charged at some of the worlds biggest waves travelling to exotic locations including Tahiti, Fiji and Bali; in search for that thrill - that perfect wave. Tyson simply loved the ocean. It was his happy place.
Tyson was charismatic and quietly confident, his manner frequently stole the hearts of many beautiful woman. He was a true gentleman with a kind heart and a beautiful delicate soul that evidently shone.
Most recently he touched the heart of his beautiful girlfriend Mari, they were a kindred spirit.
On Saturday the 20th of August 2016 Tyson Slade Williams tragically lost his battle with depression.
Suicide is the one of the leading causes of death for males and females aged between 15 and 44. Around 2,500 people in Australia sadly take their own life every year. That's more than seven people every day.
A Loving son to Jannice.
A big brother to Cooper.
A future brother in law to Rachel.
A partner and soulmate to Mari.
A best mate and friend to many.
The repercussions of such tragedy have a devastating effect on families, friends, work colleagues and members of the community.

World Suicide Prevention Day is held every year on the 10th of September. Our aim is to raise Ten Thousand dollars.
On this day we will donate all additional money raised to Beyond Blue - an organisation specifically dedicated to helping those affected by depression anxiety and suicide.
We urge you to please give generously. The money raised will help fund any upcoming expenses needed for the family's recovery process, time off work and any additional ongoing counselling services they may require.
Tyson's family are extremely grateful to those who have or intend on donating. On behalf of the family they appreciate your support and thank you from the bottom of their hearts.
Tyson's family ask that any monies that may have been spent on giving flowers/gifts be donated to the Tribute to Tyson fundraiser.

The Funeral will be held at 11:30am on Monday 29th August at Macquarie Park cemetery just off Dehli Rd. The family welcome anyone who knew Tyson to join them and help celebration Tyson's life.
A wake will be held at the Warriewood Surf Club from 1:30pm onwards.
