Support World Champion to retain title

Donation protected
I am Jo Redman and I am a current WKC Kickboxing World Champion. I am looking to win my third world title in Italy in October but am struggling to secure the funds to be able to attend.

I started kickboxing at the age of 13 and it was then I decided I would be a World Champion, a goal I fulfilled in 2011 and again in 2012. I am an amateur competitor and my sport is entirely self funded, I do not get paid to train or for competitions.

I also have Asperger's Syndrome and want to bring awareness to this condition through my sport and the things I have achieved with the aim to show what people with Asperger's can achieve given the right support and opportunity. Asperger's Syndrome is a neurological condition on the higher functioning end of the autism spectrum. Asperger's Syndrome can affect my training and means that I need to be accompanied by a supporter when I travel which doubles the cost for me to attend international competitions.  I was recently made a patron of Anna Kennedy Online, a charity who help and support those affected by autism and their families.  I help to raise awareness by giving talks in schools and in public and have spoke in London at Autism's Got Talent and at the Autism Show.

In 2013 I have already become WKC English National Champion and WAKO British Champion. I have a bronze medal from an advanced category of the Irish Open, which is the largest martial arts tournament in the world, and I participated in the Clash of the Titans Fight Night Show beating a Tae Kwon Do World Champion. For my achievements in 2011 I was awarded Northamptonshire Sport's Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year.
