TAFCOM's Microloan Project

Once in a blue moon something speaks to your soul. I hope this project I'm working on in Tanzania inspires the same in you.
For the last couple of months, I've been volunteering with the most AMAZING organization called TAFCOM. They work with extremely impoverished families affected by HIV/AIDs through community development. I had no idea how immeasurably inspiring they would be and how much they would change me. I didn't think that I would actually find myself in Africa... You can read more at my blog.
TAFCOM has a variety of different projects but the one I'm excited about is the Microloan Project that we've just improved (and they already have a 99% success rate before!)
HOW IT WORKS:
Basically $100 will help a family be able to start their own business. TAFCOM provides the necessary business training along with basic book keeping to aide in their success. The goal is to enable these women and families to have the opportunity to earn money and be independent, ensuring a better quality of life. It is a way for them to earn a sustainable livelihood.
Any little bit you donate will be appreciated and will make such a huge and valuable impact! Unfortunately, the povery here is unlike anything I've ever seen.

Typical Family Home - with no elecrtricity or running water.
Once we rehaul the website, there will be quarterly updates about the women and businesses that you support :) I want you guys to share the amazing feeling of knowing that your donations enabled these people to have hope, health and happiness with their success stories. ALL of your donations will go into making a positive difference in these families, women’s and children’s life. Any little bit helps, but if you can't monetarily... there are other ways : by either fundraising or simply forwarding this link across all your social groups - Twitter, FB, Church, Mosque, community centres, dating meet ups etc ;)
