Prague Spring Solo Competition!

Hi everybody! I was invited to compete this May in the Prague Spring International Festival Competition for French Horn . The competition has been around since the 1940s and has jump-started the careers of a host of famous musicians since its inception. The festival happens every summer but the instruments rotate so that each discipline only happens once every 8-9 years. There is also an age cap of 30 and since I recently turned 26, this is literally a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! As a side-note, I was the only American invited!! I am asking for donations to help me cover the cost of the flights to and from Europe and housing while I am in Prague for the competition. I play professionally as the 3rd Horn in the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, but I don't make quite enough money to just fly off to Europe for every amazing opportunity that comes along, so please give what you can as every little bit helps! Also, if you think it is a worthy cause, don't hesitate to pass along to your friends! Extra money raised will help fund my eating habit (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner) while I am there;-)
