In the summer of 2012, our family hosted a 12 year old boy from Eastern Europe. This experience changed his life and ours forever. Though we can't adopt him, God used him to open our hearts to the ministry of adoption. We are seeking to adopt a 0 - 8 year old child, possibly with special needs like a missing limb, cerebral palsy, mild spina bifida, or HIV .
In our own strength, this is impossible. Our house is not big. Our income is not big. But our faith is... and we serve a BIG GOD. We know that if He has called, He will provide the means to answer that call. Psalm 50:10 says, "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills." All He has to do is sell a few cows!!
UNICEF estimates that there are over 153 million orphans world-wide. We would like to make a difference for one.
