My name is Natalie Klempel and I have been given the opportunity to pursue my Master's in Human Anatomy in Great Britain and than pursue my Ph.D in Forensic Anthropology. I am currently taking my final prerequisites to my Master's degree and working 20 hours a week.

I have always been determined to have a Ph.D. in Holocaust studies and at one time I had my research project already picked out. My other interest has been in medicine due to the fact I have had to endure several medical issues while growing up and have been in and out of hospitals throughout my life.
I am choosing a University in Great Britain, because of the forensic science Ph.D. program. After composing a project for my Genetics class that combined a prototype model for Shoah victims, genetics, and forensic science, I started to look into graduate programs that combined these interests of mine. Unfortunately, a clock ticking on the recovery of forensically identifiable materials, and in the absence of better technologies, very soon crucial archeological evidence may be lost forever.
My goal for my Ph.D. research is to develop different means of experimentation to be able to test the human DNA of the victims of the Shoah. With this discovery, more research can be done providing the world with further knowledge of the Shoah, especially for future generations. While the Shoah has a living legacy in survivors, our ability to delve more deeply into the magnitude of scale and physicality of the genocide has largely been hampered by perceptions of archeological efforts as they relate to Halacha and by the development of acceptable field-implementable physical methods. My primary interests lay in overcoming these obstacles throughout the use of technology to learn more about both the locations and specific composition of mass graves.
By helping me fund my Ph.D. program in Great Britain I will receive a top notch education where the professors are willing to help their students excel in every way possible. With continuing my education in this graduate program, I know I will not only have a wonderful education, but hands on experience that will help me become the professional I desire to be. After completing my Ph.D. and have worked for several years on mass killing sites and in forensic osteology, I would like to speak at universities and community centers about the work I have found and will be doing. I would also like to help out or teach a course in gross anatomy, human identification, and forensic anthropology to spread my interest to others.
Your generous donations will be more than appreciated so I can help fill the link of the missing family members and give the living relatives a sense of peace.
