Celia's Spectrum Sleepout
The Spectrum Sleepout is a Burlington tradition- 75 business and community leaders are invited to sleep outside in downtown Burlington as an act of solidarity with homeless youth. Participants raise money for Spectrum Youth & Family Services, an organization that works with homeless and troubled youth and their families to support positive choices.
Celia's response to learning of this tradition was that she wanted to participate, even when we talked about how it would be cold, and how you are supposed to think about what it would be like to be homeless. Unfortunately, you need to be at least 16 to participate. So we are doing a backyard sleepout for Spectrum instead! Would you consider donating to support Celia in her effort to benefit homeless youth? All funds raised will go directly to Spectrum.
