Wyatt is a precious 9 year old North Texas boy who loves donuts with sprinkles and watching his big brother’s football games and track meets. In August of 2012, he was diagnosed with epilepsy and cataplexy, a disorder that causes him to suddenly fall without warning numerous times each day. In February of 2013, Wyatt was diagnosed with Niemann-Pick Disease Type C, or NPC. NPC is a progressive, degenerative disease that is caused by problems with cholesterol storage in the body. Researchers are working on a cure, without one in the next few years, NPC is always fatal. We need to keep Wyatt healthy and comfortable as long as we can to allow him to participate in a clinical trial for a potential treatment that is currently in progress. More can be learned about NPC by going here: www.nnpdf.org.

We are raising money for a specially trained service dog, ongoing medical expenses, and other unforseen necessities. Every penny counts for Wyatt. Please help!

We heard your story through a friend and were moved by sweet Wyatt's strength. Our baby has epilepsy and a possible genetic disease. Your story hit home. Wishing you all the very best.
