Patrick Connor Merrick was a treasured, much loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, boyfriend & friend.   He was a bright young man with the world in front of him.  Unfortunately the darkness of depression and anxiety blocked his view.  As a result, Patrick could not see through to tomorrow and took his life.

All who knew him are overwhelmed with grief at the sudden passing of this fiercely loved young man on May 11th 2016.  Patrick was the loving son of Aimee Murphrey, a dear friend and colleague, who did everything a mother could to help her son try to find the desire and motivation to set goals and aspire to be whatever it was he wanted to be. 

The family is grateful to all who have reached out to help and would like to offer this avenue for anyone who would like to help them  during this terrible time in their lives.  This Go Fund Me account will serve as a starting point to help with funeral costs.  They will also use some of the funds to make a donation to a local suicide prevention organization to honor Patrick's memory and to help others who live in darkness and feel hopeless.
