Preaching Trip To Philippines

I have been invited to preach on Jesus and Mission at the annual church convention in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Philippines, Friday, April 25, 2013, with the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Philippines. http://www.uuphilippines.org/ They can offer hospitality there, but can't afford to pay for the trip. Neither can I, or our missional community here in our low income area of the Tulsa area, but together with many contributing a little, I know we can. Just 20 people giving $100 would do it, for example. In the past we have crowd-sourced much here for others in our area, through our Miracles Among The Ruins projects; this time I am calling out to do so for those in the Philippines.
There the church, which began as a Universalist Christian church some 58 years old and where the ties to Jesus are still strong, include congregations up in the hill villages and in Dumaguete and a new one in Manila. For the most part its members are among the lowest income, but its spirit is strong and its vision great, especially as it began as an indigenous church, from the reading and interpretation of biblical scripture by one man who found its universalist salvation message compelling and walked from hill to hill across the province to spread such an affirming message that God is Love and we are all One in God's Family.
It is an inspiring message and ministry, and one that has inspired what all we have done here in far north Tulsa and Turley area; see www.progressivechurchplanting.blogspot.com; and I am looking forward, if possible, to returning the favor and giving back to them, and connecting their Good News with our Good News and the Good News Jesus brought of God's radically loving and liberating mission.
