Firefighter Alex Hopkins Drowning

Donation protected
Our close friend James Alexander Hopkins disappeared Sunday May 1st after being pulled underwater by strong currents while swimming with his friends at Pelouse Falls Washington, and is presumed to have drowned. After tireless search efforts, crews have been unable to locate Alex and have recently suspended the search. As a very close friend of Alex and the family, I am creating this campaign to help relieve financial pressure from the Hopkins family. Alex served as a Part-Paid Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician and deserves to be honored for his service as a member of the Fire Service family. Alex, a young man of only 22 years , left a massive impact on the people he left behind. He was kind, energetic, and compassionate. Always the one to volunteer to help no matter what the task. He was dedicated to serving his family, his loved ones and the people of the community he served. Now we owe it to him to help his family through these tough times and to honor him for his service as a Firefighter. Since Alex was just getting started in his fire career, he was working as a volunteer, and will not be receiving life insurance benefits or state support. I will be working with his department and the Voice of Volunteer Firefighters Association, in addition to this campaign to help address the financial needs of the situation. Please share and donate what ever you can to help. To the Fire Service Family, please share this through out the Fire community to help as much as possible to help give him an honorable funeral he deserves as a Brother in the Fire Service. To friends and family, first, please pray for the Hopkins Family, and pleases share and contribute any amount is greatly appreciated. %100 of the proceeds will go directly to Ann and Bryan Hopkins to cover any expenses, and to provide the best memorial in Alex's memory.
Thank you.

Alex, you were a strong man with a giving heart and there is no one who can compare to you. You were better than most and deserved a long happy life. You will be dearly missed.
