Healthline has been hosting a health blog contest for several weeks that many people have been participating in. Ann is doing great, and it looks like she's got a good shot at winning (you can vote again here), but it's dawned on me recently that maybe an Internet contest isn't the best way for us and our community to show our support for Ann, what she does, and how her story has touched us.

Let's make this personal.

Let's raise the $1000 prize money ourselves.

You can see the goal and the ticker here. Every dollar raised will go directly to our favorite breast cancer asskicker in stilettos and denim.

Apparently - we needed more of a challenge! We busted the goal apart in only 13 hours! That's amazing!!

I've received communications from people who still want to participate, but were not able to since we reached our goal - sooooooooo round two!
