Thank you for reading this funding request. I'm 'Ray Pensador,' a social justice and anti-corruption activist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm an advertising, marketing, technology, and business consultant with experience in both, corporate, and small business environments.

The purpose of this funding request is to kick-off a national advertising campaign specifically designed to counteract the misinformation effects of the corporate media conglomerate.

There are three key components associated with this campaign. The first one relates to a conventional advertising campaign designed to reach the public, targeting middle class people, and meant to inform them about the reasons for the social dysfunction we are experiences.

The second component focuses on the formation of a social activist group that will organize activities meant to put pressure on corrupt government and business officials by exposing influence-peddling relationships between business and government.

The third component involves the creation of a think tank made up of highly educated and experienced professionals in advertising, marketing, business and product development, activists, intellectuals, and philosophers.

This group would be tasked with coming up with short-, mid-, and long-term strategies to take on organizations like the corporate-funded American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), the NRA, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and other organizations that play a role in unduly influencing our local, state, and national governments.

The advertising and marketing (educational) campaign will be the main method to recruit regular citizens to join this effort.

You are putting into words what has been in my heart-I know that we are under siege by fascist forces who want,literally, to own the world. I will share with you in a couple of days from my modest (widow's mite) income and hopefully I can share regularly. Anything else that I can do to support the "word" I will gladly do.

I'm pessimistic that we can make a difference, but we ought to try or else fascism will continue to rule our country. Both parties put corporate interests over those of the people they were elected to serve. As a life-long Democrat, I am particularly repulsed by the actions of so-called Democrats. Proposing to cut MediCare/SS in order to appease radical Republicans is the last straw for me.
