well done sir!!! my son and I were planning a similar trip the other way, from the springs to cripple creek, if you/we can work it out when we do it ill will offer similar donations to the cause. we are gonna try to plan it in the summer/fall, when i get home from Iraq, where i am presently working as a dog handler supporting our embassy. may be we can make it a huge event and get others involved(?) I'm in!!!!

Hello all the donation sites the day of the walk will be at hwy 67and hwy24 in woodland park also the parking lot by the banana belt liquor store in the middle of woodland park then 8th street and hwy24 in the springs that the last stop is at 8th street walmart in the springs

Nicee to Hear You will have others Supporting the last half of that walk! It's a LONG ONE!!! I KNOW You have Me at the The Old Gas Station by Banana Belt for a COLLECTION STATION,... Where Else Will they Be that People can drop Cash or Check donations? I Assumed and told people to make Checks to Victor Fire Dept. and Write in the Memo "Fireman Safety Walk" Let Me know if things should be handled different! I AM HONOURED TO SUPPORT YOU SONSHINE!

State patrol said i have to walk alone or i would have to get permits we were talking about people meeting me in manitou springs and walking from there down Colorado Ave. over to 8th street so we can be off the highway
