Rescue Seth Simpson
Our
dear friends, Carl & Paula Simpson are Canadian, and have been legally
living and working in the US for years (my family met them in the early 1980's
when they were attending Bible school). Due to unforeseen circumstances,
their son Seth has been detained for deportation.
Seth is
currently in the processing stage of his incarceration. He sleeps on a
concrete floor without any blanket or pillow. He hasn't eaten since he
arrived. At times the room is overcrowded. And it is cold.
1. Inform Others: If you are burdened with this information, please feel free to pass this on to your friends and family. We are asking for as much help as possible and realize that those we don't even know yet may be instrumental in assisting us with our plight.
2. Emotional & Spiritual: Pray for Seth. He was woke from a deep sleep to be hauled off unexpectantly. We told him that we would be there to try to get him out, but we were not allowed entry. He is surely in a confused and fearful state of mind.
3. Pray for our Family. Please understand the pain we are in at this time and pray for us. We are entering a fog of uncertainty and many fears are seeking to get our attention. We ask for your understanding and love.
4.
Financial: We
are raising funds for his defense fund. If you would like to help us,
please take part. The lawyer has informed us that lawyer fees may be
between $5,000 and $10,000, bonding fees could be ~15% of the bond
amount, and miscellaneous and sundry expenses will certainly pile up.
