I don't know how to begin to thank all of you for donating. The love and support from friends, family, and even strangers has been overwhelming. It means a lot to know so many people care about Justin. Thank you.

OAK PARK, IL Medical & Healing

My husband Justin was riding his bicycle home from work on 12/3/12 when he was hit by a car. He sustained a traumatic brain injury as well as several broken bones. Justin is still in the ICU fighting for his life after surgery to remove part of his skull and relieve the pressure in his brain. The driver who hit him only had minimum coverage car insurance, which will not cover his medical bills, let alone his lost income. So many people have expressed an interest in donating to Justin, and your generosity is appreciated. The money will go to help cover our short term expenses and in the future, medical bills.

My daughter, Kimberly Carver, is the strongest and most courageous woman I know. She continues to advocate for and support her husband, Justin, throughout this difficult and arduous process. I know Justin, he worked at my favorite coffee shop Demitasse in Little Italy for many years! Justin is such a sweet soul, my heart hurts to hear about Justin's condition. Sending love, prayer and $! Get better soon Justin!
