A Home for Khloe

My, now "sixeen" y.o.(oh my how time flies!) daughter found this site and asked me to see if we could receive help. Our story may not differ from many. I am disabled. We have lived at our current residence for twelve years. In that time my health has continued to decline. I feel it is due to the area in which we reside. There is a Foundry down the street from us that I was not aware of before we moved in. Our neighborhood, though in a nice section of our city, has fallen into decline with a higher crime rate. My child is most unhappy because of it and fears for our safety. It too is effecting her health, in all aspects. I know the amount is very large. We desire to relocate. Not merely to another city within the state, but out of state. Our hearts are set on Maine. My child has always wanted to live where there is snow in a two story home. I can give her Maine and the snow. Perhaps one day a two story home by adding on.
We will Agriscape our property. If not familiar, instead of planting the standard faire of evergreens or annuals and bi-annuals. We would have plants we could harvest fruits and vegetables from. We could have our own garden http://www.efoodnet.org/get-involved/plant-an-extra-row/
Plant fruit/nut trees. There are Apple Trees on this property, we are so excited. We feel Maine would benefit us greatly. It is just the three of us. Yes, we count our chihuahua(my service dog)as family. We are quiet and keep to ourselves. We wouldn't be a bother as a neighbor. We think that Maine is so beautiful. The amount requested is to cover a down payment to buy our dream home, as I am applying for a loan soon. It is on two acres. We hope that you can find it in your hearts to assist. We offer prayers and blessings to all who are able to and for those who wish that they could. We hope this finds all in the best of spirits.

I know this is a HUGE amount. We are going through our personal affects and donating items to make the move less expensive. We are down to the bare minimum now and more than likely will only need a 26' truck. This pleases us greatly for our hard work in this effort.

We have decided, after my daughter brought this thought up. If by the good graces, three donated $15,000.00 each. We would gladly host those individuals and a companion, if they so choose, for a period of three days, each having their own weekend. It's not large enough for us and six people at once, lol. This would be open to Halloween, Ski/Snow Season, Thanksgiving within the first  year we are living in our home. There is so much to do and see in Maine. http://www.visitmaine.com/

We are now interested in Carroll Plantation area. The area is quite lovely.
