Mexico 2012 Bus Tour Sankirtan

I am Sagar Kumar (Srutisagara D.), a student at Krishna House, Gainesville. Last year, I went on the Mexico Bus tour. As a full time UF student I find it difficult to devote myself 24/7 to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's Sankirtan Mission. I try to do my studies for Krishna but the Mexico Bus tour is a very unique opportunity. Each day we travel to a new city or town or village and hold a 4 hour festival in the evening. The local devotees or in some cases even non-devotees organize the venue and publicize for the event. Nomally we have 100 or 200 to 300 guests.
The festival consists of a play on Bhagavad Gita, traditional Indian dance performances, a video on Krishna Consciousness, and a grand kirtan which makes everyone chant and dance. The participation of the audience in kirtans was phenomenal last year. After the Kirtans, we served prasad and many people bought Srila Prabhupada's books and thanked us profusely for the kirtan.
It is a very fulfilling experience, trying our bit to serve in Srila Prabhupada's mission and thus serving in Lord Chaitanya's mission. Even though most of the bus tour students do not know Spanish we communicate the message to the locals and they understand it and even value it.
Srila Prabhupada gives the example that even if we do not know the language properly, if there is a fire in the house, we can communicate the message. So we are trying to spread Lord Chaitanya's Sankirtan message all over Mexico.
For me, it was such an enriching experience. Throughout the tour, I felt so much more dependent on Krishna and the Holy names. The tour made me humble by observing the example of the Gurukuli students who do kirtan only for Krishna. Manorama prabhu selflessly arranges the festivals and manages the whole tour. In summary, the bus tour gave me profound experiences of selfless service, ecstatic Kirtans and cooperation for Srila Prabhupada's mission.
So, I humbly request that you please contribute as much as you can so that I can go on the bus tour 2013 and take part in Lord Chaitanya's Mission. The bus tour has various expenses including food, gasoline, toll taxes, maintenance of the bus etc. So, each participant is requested to contribute around $850. I need only $182 towards the whole cost.
Please help me raise this amount so as to spread Srila Prabhupada's mission, Lord Chaitanya's mission.
