We're a determined group of Staten Islanders, and we're organizing a grassroots donation campaign to benefit specific families of the hardest hit areas in Staten Island, New York. We would like to help 4 specific families right now that have lost everything down to the clothes on their backs. Does much more need to be said? We'd like to put you directly in touch with the need, so, we ask you to do what you can, and know that every dollar donated through this site will be personally carried by us to these families, and spent on much needed food and supplies to help rebuild their lives. One family has 2 young twin daughters who were renting a basement apartment when it completely flooded. Because they were renting there are no government assistance options for them at this point. And this is just one family....
For the next month this site will be open for donations, in any amount. Your donation, into the hands of the beneficiary within 48 hours. No red tape.
