It has been a few weeks...
It has been a few weeks since our last post and we hope you all had a wonderful Christmas full of lots of love, laughter and happiness! We had a wonderful Christmas ourselves and we feel so blessed that we were able to share it with eachother and most importantly Vickie. It is truly remarkable that she continues to do so well. She continues to eat more than ever which is great and certainly helps to keep her energy up, she is up out of bed everyday staying busy and just continues to have the best attitude about everything. She still experiences no pain and little discomfort which we couldn't be happier about. To all of you that made it out to our "drop-in" before the holidays, thank you so much for taking the time during the busiest time of year to visit with her. You have no idea how happy she was to see each and every one of you. She felt so blessed that day and just smiled from ear to ear because of all of you and we can't thank you enough. She loves you all and you have a special place in her heart! Our family is in complete awe with the amount of kindness, love and support we have gotten from everyone through this unfortunate time and we will never be able to show our appreciation and thankfulness. It has been such a wonderful blessing! We hope all of you have a very Happy New Year!! Thank you all!

For all of our followers, we...
For all of our followers, we just wanted to give you an update on Vickie. She is feeling and doing pretty well although exhausted but who could ever blame her for that. As some of you may know, Vickie was supposed to undergo two weeks of radiation in hopes to help with the cancer in her brain. She was able to make it through the 1st week just fine. This past week was to be her 2nd week. She made it through Mon and Tues but unfortunately she was hospitilized early Wed morning for some medical help and assistance. As of yesterday, she was able to be released for doing so well and now she is back to enjoying the comforts of her own home. It was decided before leaving the hospital that she will no longer be getting anymore chemo or radiation. She will now have help from Hospice of Lancaster County that will come in a few times a week to see that everything is going as good as it can for her. Besides the exhaustion she is doing very well considering the circumstances. She is still eating great and continues to keep her positive attitude and a smile on her face. As a family we are just continuing to pray everyday and have faith that the Lord knows what is best for her. We are taking things a day at a time and just enjoying each and every moment we have. Thank you again for everyone that has kept our family in your thoughts and prayers and for those who have contributed. The support we have around us is amazing and each of us appreciate it more than we could ever express! God Bless you all!

We just wanted to express our sincere gratitude for all the support we have gotten so far! It is truly remarkable and very much appreciated! Each of you are so very special and we can never thank you enough! Vickie had her second radiation treatment today and is doing okay, just very tired! She is very thankful for your kind generosity! Keep praying because we certainly are!

I have been INCREDIBLY blessed to have spent several years working with Vickie. She is, besides my own mother, the most respectable, positive, faith filled, wonderful woman I have ever known. Vickie will ALWAYS hold a very special place in my heart. I know that she has had huge struggles, but, has always pressed on, and continued with grace, She continues to do so, and, will always have made such a positive impact on every life she encounters! I love you Vickie!!! Sheila
