In Memory of Forrest Wayne Walters

Our friends, Heather Walters Good and F.W. Walters lost their father, Forrest Wayne, on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, after many years of illness.
Mr. Walters served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1968-1972, after graduating from the Staunton Military Academy. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), King George Democratic Committee, and the Lions Club.
Wayne was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, as well as, Dahlgren United Methodist Church. He loved to collect coins and was an avid Washington Redskins fan.
Although Heather, F.W., and Phyllis have been incredibly strong during this time, we would like to come together and help them financially cover outstanding medical expenses, funeral arrangements, and alleviate any additional burdens.
With that being said, any contribution that can be made is greatly appreciated as it will be a huge help for their family at this difficult time. If you are unable to help financially, please consider sharing a memory of Wayne in the comments.
