Lawrence Free Poetry is a high school slam poetry and spoken word team out of Lawrence, Kansas. We were accepted into Brave New Voices, an internationwide youth poetry convention that provides a safe space for young writers to create and develop their voices. Our goal is to be present and share our stories, speak out against hatred and bigotry, tell our truths.
