Marshall's Dream is a non-profit organization specializing in social and academic advancement for children and families across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Los Angeles, CA and Phoenix AZ. Our primary goal is to enrich a broader base of families across our communities through cultural transformation, resource perpetuation, educational advancement and athletic and physical fitness programs. Unfortunately there is a disproportionate supply and demand gap between those who desire and need access to quality education and sustainable resources compared to the number of legitimate educational institutions qualified to satisfy these economic and educational demands. There are a number of persistent negative characteristics that too frequently place significant barriers between disadvantaged and advantaged neighborhoods and communities. Through a deliberate model of active involvement, relentless effort and consistent execution, Marshall's Dream is here to permanently meet the high demand for the economic uplift and other superior benefits statistically associated with a quality education. In many segments of American society today we can clearly see the vast, stark, harsh and material disconnect between families who receive quality education and those who are shut out from the opportunity to learn in a safe nurturing academic environment. Marshall's Dream dedicates its time and resources to providing economic assistance and food to families in need, tutoring programs for students, books and school supplies, mentoring classes for at-risk youth, shoe give-away programs, and scholarship/grant contributions for outstanding students who are committed to the pursuit of knowledge and higher learning. Our primary goal is to serve as a stabilizing conduit between education and society, while perpetuating consistent access to resources for children and families in need. We believe that each child has something to offer, and we are here to make that "something" visible and accessible to each child we can touch in order to dramatically alter their circumstances and enhance their long-term outcomes.
