Build a House of God on I-5

UNLESS THE LORD BUILDS THE HOUSE…

Twenty years ago our parish acquired a plot of land off Interstate 5 near Rogue River, OR, with a dream to one day build a beautiful Orthodox Church visible to the thousands of people driving by every day.  But it wasn’t until 2015 when our parish of 30 people received enough donations and was able to break ground and begin construction.

At nearly 2,200 square feet, the new church will be beautiful and very traditional. By God's grace we have made amazing progress as you can see from the pictures and the video.  Our funds, however, are nearly exhausted. We need to complete the exterior before winter weather hits, then move on to interior plumbing, electrical, insulation, sheetrock, heating and air, flooring, woodworking, and more. Major funding, of approximately $250,000, is needed to help us complete the church.

Father Seraphim and the parish of St. Innocent Church are humbled by the outpouring support and encouragement and want to thank all those who have expressed their good wishes and prayers for this project, as well as those who have helped financially.

The earthly church is the image of the heaveny. Our new church will be a long-standing testament of our faith and will be touching the hearts of so many people that pass by every day.
