Members, alumni, and friends of TI,
It’s without a doubt that this year has been filled with more change and uncertainty than any of us could have imagined. We hope that all of you are safe and doing well, and are, like us, excited to get back to the club as soon as possible.
As we are all aware, TI will be closed this semester for the first time in its history. While this is not a happy first to reach, we see it as an amazing sacrifice our members are making in continuing to remain true to our community despite not being able to share in the physical campus. We officers are touched that our community is proving strong enough to withstand the challenges of separation and uncertainty. All of us are eager to return as soon as we are permitted, and are brainstorming ways to share in the clubhouse like so many classes before us.
Having said that, some of our TI family relies on our presence in the club. This means the effects of this pandemic extend to our Staff, who will not be working at TI during the Fall semester. As an officer corps, we are concerned by what this means for the wellbeing of our staff and we know our alumni care as well.
TI's current members, alumni, and staff are a strong family; and for that reason, we ask that both alumni and current members consider donating to our staff.
If you are willing to do so please donate to the TI Staff Funding GoFundMe. A suggested donation is $100, which is roughly equivalent to a day of work.
TI Staff members have always contributed to the many aspects of the club that make it so special to us. They've taken care of us in many ways, and now it's time for us to look out for them.
We hope that you will all consider giving. We hope that you all remain healthy. We will see you soon!
