Fund the Syracuse Barcycle

Who we are: Michael John Heagerty of NOexcuses Tours, Inc. and Michael Giannattasio of SALT MakerSpace
What we are raising money for: A pedal powered pub or a 'barcycle' that will tour through the Streets of Syracuse, NY, used by anyone who wants to book the unique transportation.
*It is ADA friendly and allows for multiple modular configurations for seating for up to 16.
How will the funds be used: Along with capitol raised to date. The funds from local organizations and public donations will be used primarily for fabrication and manufacturing of the Yellow Fellow. A portion of funding will be used to market the device as well as proper permitting.
How soon will you need the funds: The creation of the vehicle will take approximately a month and a half, We will need $16,000.00 so that the local crew of fabricators and manufacturers can begin creating this unique device as soon as possible (Mid January 2016). That way it will be ready in time to roll down the center of Salina St. for the 2016 Saint Patrick's Day Parade.
Why this means so much to us: This project combines all of our passions for our city and skills together. The Yellow Fellow will bring back a popular bike frame from Syracuse's past and allow a small team of creatives and manufacturers to collaborate on a truly unique project. Tourism will grow because of this project and the community of Syracuse will have a fun and unique, safe way to travel around the downtown area!
